Meet Ami Feltovich
Ami was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated cum laude from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Political Science. She got her law degree at South Texas College of Law. During and after law school, Ami worked in several areas of law, including family, criminal defense, landlord-tenant, insurance defense and medical malpractice defense. For several years, she practiced solely family law and has a wealth of experience with all types of family cases including divorce, suits affecting the parent-child relationship, parentage suits, modifications, enforcements (both property and support), contempt, termination and adoption, and suits involving CPS and the Attorney General.
Ami has been a staunch defender of the privacy rights of parents in family court and was responsible for obtaining an appellate ruling which stopped the family court judges from ordering a parent to produce their medical records just because they were litigating their parental rights. Ami also practices general civil law, including suits for injunctive relief, breach of warranty, consumer collections, and general liability. Ami has a daughter, Jade, who recently graduated from Texas A&M, and a dog, Charlie, who owns her.
