Meet Julie Maxey
Julie Maxey was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. In 2008, Julie received her Bachelor’s Degree in History from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. In 2012, she received her Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During her time at Regent Law, Julie was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board.
Julie became a member of the Texas State Bar in 2012. Since that time, she has enjoyed a varied practice of law. She has represented numerous government agencies, corporations, and individuals in transactions as well as in litigation. Julie also gained valuable trial experience while serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson County, Texas. Julie has broad legal experience which includes commercial litigation, business transactions, DTPA litigation, family law, criminal law (prosecution and defense), and government/administrative law.
Julie believes in client-centered representation and strives to use her legal skills and knowledge to help clients achieve successful outcomes in whatever situation they may find themselves in. When working with a client, Julie understands that their case is of the utmost importance and seeks to provide the best counsel possible.
